OBJECTIVE
RESULT
A complete branding system for Sacramento State’s Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Project goals aimed to increase the awareness of the center’s presence on campus, events & opportunities.
The goal for this branding project was to create a identity system for the Carlsen Center while allowing such an identity to breathe as part a of university campus as well as to the greater entrepreneurial ecosystem of Sacramento.
With aims to increase student/community attendance with the Carlsen Center, the branding system focused on a modern approach that freshened up the look of the center–presenting a welcoming tone. In connecting the centers roots to the University, the inclusion of the green brand colors, circular/wave-like forms throughout the branding system are inspired by those similarly found within Sacramento State’s identity. However, the brand also needed to exist outside of a university setting so in order to achieve this, the form of logo mark and logo type differed from the standard university presentation noted in the campuses brand guidelines.
